I started on trading desks, running equity derivatives at Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas, and then moved to private banking and wealth management at J.P. Morgan.
In 2019 I founded Sound & Fury to advise single family offices. For one, I built a global asset allocation and vetted direct investment opportunities. For the other, I ran the full investment agenda: I worked with the family's counsel on a trust severance, built and executed its alternatives program, and analyzed and traded its marketable securities. From 2022 to 2026 I was a Partner and the Chief Compliance Officer of Search Fund Accelerator, an investment firm that backs entrepreneurs who acquire and run small companies.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 5
About the name
William Faulkner took the title of his 1929 novel from that line, and I took the name of the firm from Faulkner. I studied accounting and English at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, his hometown.
The line also describes what many families experience: plenty of meetings, commentary, and reports from advisors who each see one piece, and very little clarity about the whole. The firm exists to supply that clarity.
